Day 2 and Day 3 of Cali!!

Okay so the last two days have been crazy and sooo fun!! I have been at my friend Jill's house and we have been doing all the California things... On Friday we went to the beach after I woke up and did my sprints.. Little did we know that the beach was going to have waves that were 8 to 12 feet... ya so it was mostly relaxing on the sand... There ended up being red flags up and down the southern coast. In Newport at The Wedge there were 20 to 30 foot waves so it was crazy and unfortunately a body surfer died there on Friday. Prayers are with his family.

After the beach we headed to Jill's gym so we could workout and then went to one of my favorite restaurants of all time! BJs... :) I ate my favorite salad and Jill, Kaitlyn, and I shared an amazing Oreo pizookie! After BJs we headed back to Jill's house to get ready for the Angel game which was freakin' awesome! :) here are some pics:

After the game we of course had to go for a late night run to In-N-Out which is always delicious.. And we continued our tradition of forcing Jill to eat a fry with ketchup on it.... :)


And that was Day 2 :)


Day 3 started off a little slow... :) So Katie had a friend that was at the Wedge (a beach and Newport) and he said there were 30 foot waves so we decided to go and see them.. we first stopped off at our traditional bagel store for some breakfast and then drove down PCH to Newport... Let me just say that none of us had ever been to this beach so we don't know how to get there. We ended up in Huntington so we knew we had gone to far. We ended up turning down a road and got stuck in major traffic and there was absolutely no parking so we decided to head back home. By the time we got back we had been gone for 3 and 1/2 hours and it was all driving in the car. So then we just chilled at the house for a little bit watching Friends. We got ready and then went to Disneyland. :) It was Katie's 18th birthday so we also stopped and she bought a lottery ticket.
